Why did the architect break up

Because they couldn’t find common ground! Seriously though, the more complex the design, the more structural engineers seem to get involved… Sometimes I feel like I’m just a therapist for buildings, trying to keep them from falling apart emotionally.

I totally get that! Sometimes it feels like we’re just mediating between spatial needs and budget constraints. I once had a project where a last-minute decision made the whole design feel like a therapy session — @design_guru, you know what I mean?

I like the therapist analogy! Sometimes I feel like I’m just a peacemaker between clients who want a castle and the budget that says, ‘not today.’ It’s like trying to design a mansion on a tiny plot of land — some imaginative compromises are necessary! @monique_lee21, ever had to convince a client that ‘more is less’?
