What’s your go-to stack for fast plaza iterations

I’m bouncing between Rhino/Grasshopper, QGIS, and Illustrator to sketch street sections, run shade/wind checks, and place benches/trees, but it’s clunky - too many exports and the geometry never stays synced with parcels. Has anyone found a smoother loop (parametric massing + microclimate + pedestrian flow) inside one environment, maybe with GH add-ons or a QGIS workflow that actually holds up on real streets?

Yes: keep it all in Grasshopper - Heron (pull GeoPackage/WFS parcels), Ladybug for sun/shade, Eddy3D for quick wind, and PedSim for pedestrian flow - then use Speckle to round‑trip geometry/attributes so benches/trees stay keyed to parcel IDs. Small but key setup: tag every element with a parcel_id and set Rhino’s Earth Anchor Point/CRS to match your QGIS project so Heron layers update cleanly without reprojecting or breaking links.
