I’ve been looking into ways we can better integrate green spaces into urban environments… For instance, a recent project in Barcelona transformed a former industrial site into a vibrant park that serves the community while promoting biodiversity. How can we apply these lessons to our own cities to enhance livability and sustainability?
It’s interesting how a little greenery can make concrete feel less like a prison and more like a park. Maybe we could take a cue from the Barcelona project and look into repurposing underutilized lots for community gardens? What do you think could be some challenges in our cities?
Transforming industrial sites into parks is inspiring! How about involving local residents in the design process to ensure the space meets community needs? .
