Finding the Right Software for Drafting

I’ve been using AutoCAD for a while, but I’m curious if anyone has found other software that really enhances their drafting process. I’m particularly interested in tools that handle 3D modeling efficiently because my projects are getting more complex; any recommendations from those in the trenches would be super helpful.

I switched to SketchUp for 3D modeling, and it really sped up my workflow — it’s like going from a bicycle to a sports car! Just be mindful of its limitations for complex drafts; it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. Have you tried it yet?

I’ve really enjoyed using Rhino for 3D modeling; it’s powerful for complex drafts, but it does have a steeper learning curve than AutoCAD. @michael12 mentioned some limitations with other tools — just keep that in mind if you go for it. What’s your go-to feature that you wish AutoCAD had?
