Best software for drafting during internships

As a recent architecture grad diving into internships, I’ve found that the tools we use can really shape our workflow — i’ve been using AutoCAD, but I’m curious what other software you all prefer for drafting. Are there any lesser-known tools that make the process easier or more efficient? Would love your insights as I prepare for my first real project.

You might want to check out SketchUp; it’s like the Swiss Army knife of design tools. It’s intuitive, and once you get the hang of it, you can create 3D models pretty quickly. Just a heads up, it’s not always as precise as AutoCAD, but for brainstorming, it’s fantastic.

Have you tried Revit? It’s great for integrating design and documentation, plus it streamlines coordination. @henflor, do you use any tools for project management or scheduling?

, I totally get how daunting it can be to find the right tools… During my internship, I found Rhino super helpful for drafting, especially when you need to fine-tune complex shapes. Have you checked out any online tutorials or classes for it?
