I’ve been experimenting with different drafting software for my recent projects, but I’m curious about what others are using. I find that accuracy in technical drawings really makes a big difference, especially when planning structural details; are there any programs you’ve found particularly effective for creating precise blueprints?
And i’ve had great success with AutoCAD for precision in structural details, especially for blueprints. It’s a bit of an investment, but the accuracy really pays off in the long run. Have you considered trying any plugins to enhance its capabilities?
I get what you mean about precision — I’ve found that using plugins with AutoCAD can really take your blueprints to the next level. Have you tried any add-ons to enhance your workflow, @heather_m92?
I’ve found SketchUp to be really intuitive for quick modeling, especially when you need to present concepts before diving into the detailed blueprints. It’s not as precise as AutoCAD for structural details, but the ability to visualize in 3D can be a game changer. Have you tried integrating it into your workflow?
